AUMA Actuators is the American Headquarters for AUMA/Werner Riester GmbH &
Company KG in Germany. Having outgrown its former facilities, AUMA studied several
options to expand at its original building, construct a new facility, or purchase and
renovate an existing building. The best option was the acquisition and renovation of an
existing office/manufacturing facility in an upscale industrial park along a major north/south
interstate highway.
Renovations included adding a second floor for corporate offices, complete new
administrative offices, reception and training areas along with a new manufacturing area.
New canopy entrances were also added while keeping within a demanding schedule for
relocating the existing equipment and personnel.
