In January of 2002, Glade Run Lutheran Services opened their new 44,600
square foot Resident Treatment Facility. The new RTF provides much needed
living units, kitchen and dining facilities and medical services for the children
under the care of Glade Run.
The two story "L" shaped building contains two identical floors of bedrooms,
living rooms and support spaces. The layout affords the children the ability for
privacy or social interaction with fellow children while allowing the staff to
provide supervision from a central monitoring station.
In addition to the residential component, the facility also includes the main
kitchen and dining area for children throughout the campus, a centralized
medical facility and offices for the Glade Run Purchasing Department.
