Good Samaritan Hospice House   Franklin Park, PA

Client Good Samaritan Hospice
Cost $885,000
Size 5,300 square feet

Designed to blend comfortably into a suburban single-family neighborhood, Good Samaritan Hospice House is a skilled care nursing facility that provides hospice care in a facility with a residential atmosphere inside and out. The 5,300 square foot facility is divided into two zones: the active zone houses the family visitor center, living room, dining room, kitchen, screened porch and a chapel while the passive, or quiet, zone, contains the six patient rooms. The passive zone is connected to the family visitor center by a curved, glass-enclosed walkway through the gardens. The patient rooms have private baths and each bedroom has a vista into the gardens or surrounding woods. The patient bedroom area also contains a nurse's area, a lounge, a screened porch and a laundry room.
